Barbecue is the most favorite traditional dish of Armenians. In 2026 The annual Barbecue festival (Pan-Armenian Khorovats Festival) is held in Stepanavan, Lori region.
The participants of the festival are representatives of different companies and restaurants and individual cooks from regions of Armenia and other countries. They present their methods of barbecue cooking. The guests at the festival can try not only traditional meat barbecue but also vegetables barbecue. They also participate in various culinary competitions.
The event is accompanied by traditional Armenian songs and dances and different performances.
