The Kasagh Basilica is located in the Aragatsotn Province, in the village of Kasagh, on the right bank of the Kasagh River. It is one of the largest surviving basilica-type churches from Armenia's early Christian period. The monument is dated to the end of the 4th – beginning of the 5th century.
The Kasagh Basilica is a three-nave basilica-type church. The central nave is wider and taller than the two side naves. The naves are separated from each other by two rows of piers. On the eastern side is a semicircular apse, on either side of which are chambers.
Excavations here have uncovered Armenian, Georgian, and Byzantine copper coins.
The church was last restored in 2002.
