Mantash Waterfall

Mantash Waterfall is located on the slopes of Mount Aragats, 16 km from the village of Megh Mantash in Shirak Province. It is formed by the waterfall of the river of the same name. The waterfall plunges from a height of 21 metres. It has been registered on the list of state nature monuments of the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia.


The village of Mantash was renamed in honour of the philanthropist Alexander Mantashov. Consequently, the river and the waterfall bear the same name.
